At the northwest trailhead, a major attraction is the Hoosier Valley Railroad Museum where a busy corridor formerly served the Erie, C&O, Pennsylvania, and New York Central railroads.  The Museum has an extensive collection of rolling stock, a depot, and a gift shop.  Included is a steam engine listed on the National Register of Historic Sites.  The Museum operates excursion trains regularly on Saturdays. There are also events for children before Easter, Halloween, and Christmas.
