Enjoy the breadth of wildlife, take pictures, and build memories. Please be respectful and mindful that these species are protected by state and federal law.
Other species are seen less frequently, such as the great egret flying over a wetland along the trail and near its intersection with Starke County Road 100 West. The great egret is a state species of special concern.
A Blanding’s turtle, a state endangered species, crosses the equestrial trail between C.R. 100 West and Range Road east of North Judson.
